About the job
AKFAL's warehouse in Jubail holds project buffer stock, rental-fleet spares and the trading stock that goes out on emergency call-offs. Storekeepers receive goods against purchase orders, check quantity and heat numbers against the certificates, bin and label them so they can be found at 2 a.m., issue against approved requisitions and keep the ERP stock records true. Traceability is the job: a flange without its MTC is scrap as far as a plant QA department is concerned.
What you will do
- Receive deliveries; check quantity, condition, marking and heat numbers against the PO and the certificates
- Bin, label and store materials by type, size and grade; keep the warehouse layout and the ERP locations in step
- Issue materials against approved requisitions and record every movement
- Run cycle counts and annual stock-takes; investigate and report discrepancies
- Operate a forklift for receiving and dispatch; keep the yard and racks safe and tidy
What we look for
- 3+ years in an industrial warehouse — piping, valves, electrical or MRO stock
- Able to identify pipe, fittings, flanges and valves by size, schedule, rating and material grade
- Familiar with material certificates and heat-number traceability
- Competent with an ERP stock module and Excel
- Forklift certificate; supervisor roles need experience leading a small team

Working in Jafurah
The Jafurah gas field, south-east of Al-Ahsa, is being developed in phases by Saudi Aramco with international EPC contractors. It is a construction environment rather than a running plant: gas processing trains, pipelines, compression and utilities being built at the same time, which means sustained demand for welders, pipe fitters, riggers, scaffolders, electricians and certified operators over several years.

Questions applicants ask
Do I need experience?
Yes — three or more years in an industrial warehouse. A supermarket or general goods warehouse background does not qualify on its own; the test is identifying piping items and reading a certificate.
Which certificates do I need?
A forklift certificate is required. A logistics diploma helps for the supervisor role.
Iqama, transfer and visa
Candidates inside Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama are placed first; we also recruit from abroad through licensed agencies, at no cost to the applicant.
Hours and shifts
Regular day shift, six days a week, with a rota for emergency issues outside hours during shutdowns.
